Essen
is Germany's eighth biggest city and is situated in the urban area
of the so called "Ruhrgebiet".
By it's highly developed infrastructure you have the option between
several opportunities to reach the
Centre for Hand Surgery.
The best way to travel to
Essen is probably the
airplane due to the fact that you can arrive at
Düsseldorf International Airport,
Cologne/Bonn Airport or at
Frankfurt Airport.
After your arrival at one of the airports you have the choice
between the taxi/cab, the train or to rent a car. The most
comfortable way to the Centre for
Hand Surgery from Frankfurt is to take the
"ICE",
a "bullet-train" that drives at 300 kph.
From Essen
main station you can take a taxi/cab or you can travel by bus.
Please ask at the information desk for support with the bus
connexion.
